This little waffle maker is so perfect! It makes the perfect size waffles, the smaller ones you would get out of the freezer section at the grocery store. I just buy some mix and make a huge batch to freeze for my son, and he just pops them in the toaster. I also made a bunch to make waffle sandwiches for my daughter. Healthier and a lot cheaper. I make those up and freeze them as well to be able to just pop them in the microwave.

So I fell for the crazy chaffle keto insanity! This mini waffle maker works great, it heats up quickly and has a non stick surface. It’s relatively easy to clean, like all waffle makers (hard to clean between the bumps). Word of caution, don’t put in more than 2 tablespoons of batter or it will overflow! And what about the chaffles? Ehh, same as eating an omelette with cheese…but I need to experiment more! ☺️

This is great! The first time I tried using it, I tried a “protein waffle” recipe that I had found on the internet, and it made a HUGE mess. Seriously, there was waffle mix everywhere. We didn’t have waffles that day, and it sat on my shelf for a few weeks.

Fast forward to this weekend, I finally broke it out and tried again, this time with proper waffle mix, and I LOVE it! I’m small, so two waffles are plenty for me, but the mix made about twelve so I froze the extra and fed my family. It was great! Highly recommend, especially with the sale prices ($10 when I got mine!).

works great and especially nice because it doesn’t take up a lot of room to store. The waffles don’t take long to make and they brown evenly and just the right amount. The only downside is that it takes a long time to make a lot because it just makes one at a time, and they’re the size of Eggos, but you know when you buy it. I would recommend it for a single or couple or someone with limited storage space, but if you have a family, you’d probably want a standard-size waffle maker that makes large waffles or several pull-apart waffles at once.

I love this waffle maker. I am the only one who eats waffles in the house, so the size is perfect for me. For the Belgian waffle recipe I used I only needed to use maybe 2-3 tablespoons of batter to make a waffle. Anymore than 2-3 tablespoons and the batter is dripping out the sides as it cooks. Three waffles and I’m full. I would suggest to cook the waffles well where the middle isn’t soggy is to wait until the light comes and put your batter in, then wait until 3 light cycles and viola tasty waffles.

I love this little machine. It makes the perfect size waffle for one person. I keep waffle mix on hand where all I have to do is add water. I can make 2-3 waffles pretty quick and there’s very little clean up. The batter cooks quickly so I would recommend watching it closely. I spray a small amount of Pam and haven’t had any trouble removing my waffles when done. The machine is small enough that storage isn’t an issue. Plus the color is too cute!

I bought this product because I am doing the keto diet and that is something that a lot of people make, little keto egg waffles to replace bread with. I love this item so much. It is so easy to clean. It’s perfect for just to sit on the counter top or you can stick it in the cabinet but because it’s so small. It cooks the waffles perfectly. And I totally would recommend it.

I own two now. I make gluten free Eggo sized waffles in batches of 24 or so. Then I place them in a gallon bag with paper towels in the refrigerator. take out two in the morning and pop into the toaster. Fabulous!!

Have you ever said, “hey, my waffle is too big!” Running out of butter or syrup? Looking to spice things up at brinner? Got too much free time on your hands? Now there is a solution: smaller waffles! Feeds a family of four in under two hours! It’s small, so it’s easy to clean, it uses less energy and has a specific batter consumption of less than .15ML/KJL of energy (at 70 degrees OAT). Better yet, if you are tired of cooking breakfast for your family, this appliance clearly sends the message, “this is my waffle, and no, you can’t have a bite!” Also, as noted in the product headline, you can make paninis with this, so if you have one of those coworkers that likes to steals paninis out of the staff fridge, but who also has a strong aversion to waffles due to an undisclosed, waffle-related childhood trauma, you are in luck my friend because NOW your paninis can have the protection of looking like a waffle. No more sad lunches for you! Folks, this is the thinking man’s waffle maker, you simply can’t go wrong. Also, hash browns, in a waffle maker? What will the zany product engineers at DASH think of next?!

Easy to use, easy clean, and easy to tuck away in a small kitchen. Make up a big batch and freeze for toaster waffles anytime someone in the house want some. Great product!

I had no idea what a small waffle maker could do for my life. LOL.

This has only one big flaw. The handle that sticks out in the front is either not big enough or just not designed well, so you can burn yourself trying to lift it. I either use a fork to knock it upwards after cooking (because it tends to stick a bit) or I use a mitten.

This silly little thing is perfect. It is so simple that it works almost solely because of that. The non-stick surface really is nonstick. Kind of critical with a waffle maker, so the waffles come off clean without scraping and scrubbing. It makes a waffle in about two minutes. About the time it takes to make my coffee.

The waffles look like an eggo, but they are oh so much better. Definitely, depending on the batter, as good or better than any at a pancake shop.

You plug it in, it warms up and the light goes off. You open it, spoon in about two tablespoons of batter, and close it. The light comes on and when it goes off, the waffle that comes out is wonderful.

Love this. I set it up and within one day I had more waffles than I have had in a year. Now I have them all the time. Great with tea, breakfast, coffee, dessert (ice cream, peanut butter, maple syrup….).

    Now, about that weight problem…LOL.

Vert satisfied for the price & everything. Product arrived before estimated delivery date, and undamaged. – Already started using the product. To make small protein waffles or snacks. Found Ghee works good to reduce sticking. And for me. I perfer crisper type waffles. So I let it heat or cook a few minutes longer. Than the included recipe/manual states. So far; item works as expected. And will contunie to mix & experiment with different food combinations.

Update: Also found Olive Oil & Avacado Oil cooking spray also works good. Sray between each waffle cooked (top & bottom). And just use a small point of utensil into the side of the waffle to pull up from the waffle maker.

I’m a diabetic 2 patient and therefore, limited in daily carbs I can have. With this little jewel, I prepare a four inch waffle that has 14 carbs plus 11 grams carbs from Safeway’s Signature Sugar Free syrup prior to going to bed. Not too bad, all things considered.

The unit is very simple — you plug it for heat and un plug it to turn it off. There’s a thermostatically controlled device set at a fixed level which produces nicely browned waffles.

YES! Tiny Eggo-sized waffles! Put anything into it- hashbrowns, tater tots, waffle mix, canned biscuits! Add nuts and berries and things! It even comes with a little recipe booklet! It fits in the palm of your hand, you could literally stuff it in the back of a drawer, but you won’t, because as soon as you get it everyone wants mini waffles for every meal. It heats up super fast and is a breeze to clean. If you’re making a whole mess of waffles, be sure to give it a quick spritz of nonstick spray every couple waffles or so, so it doesn’t rend your delicious waffles asunder. Excellent value. Buy 10 of them and a food truck, you’ll be in business.

This makes perfect waffles! Fast and the perfect color and chrisp edges. No soggy feeling waffles. Perfect every time even if you don’t grease the plates!

Definitely one of the best purchases I have made on amazon so far. Just as described, it is a mini waffle-maker. The “mini” part is no joke, the whole thing is small enough to lift in one hand. If you are feeding breakfast to a whole family of five or more then this may not be for you. However, because of its size, it works quicker than a normal sized one so even though you can only make one small waffle at a time, each waffle should be done in about a minute or two. The interior is also non-stick so it is really easy to clean which was a huge bonus for me. On top of that, it comes with a little instruction panphlet that tells you how to use and and also include recipes and recipe ideas! Personally, I love it, it’s what I wanted and more.

I added this to my cart on a whim and was prepared to face the consequences of impulse buying, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this waffle iron is! It heats evenly and quickly, feels sturdy, and is perfectly sized for a snack sized serving. I’ve made regular waffles and a bunch of different desserts already and they’ve all turned out well. It works well with raw cookie dough to make one big waffle-cookie, or with cake batter for a quick cake snack. I would say it doesn’t make sense to make a family sized serving of waffles because it only does one at a time, but for a snack for me and my husband, it’s great! Takes up very little room, too.

Seriously I love this thing more than my regular sized waffle maker!! It makes waffles that are a tad smaller than Eggo waffles. They are a perfect size. My kids love that I am willing to make waffles in it on weekdays instead of just on weekends with my other one. So easy to use…no clean up is necessary. The waffles come out perfectly every time, no spray needed! Almost thinking I should get another one…hmmmm. You will not be sorry with this little guy…a keeper!

This little baby is the bees knees for my breakfast grilled cheese. Here’s the recipe…cut a slice of bread in half, stick a thick chunk of cheddar between the slices, melt a skinny pat of butter on the bottom plate, put the sandwich on there with another thin slice of butter on the top piece of bread. Press down lightly, wait about a minute, press down harder, presto magic….a perfect cheese panini….hint….dont use cheap bread, use a good hearty slice of whole grain or you will end up making a mess.

I’ve began a new diet and the Dash mini waffle maker has been a great appliance for me in making my servings of food.

I honestly have never had a waffle maker before, so I am not a pro on them. Although, I do know what I like. Dash is super easy to clean (which is a biggie for me) and really easy to use. My daughter loves to make waffles now. She eats them about three times a week now. All we do, is plug it in and let it get hot and then pour in our batter (you need to use Pam or some other kinds of oil spray prior to putting it in). The waffles turn out awesome. Cleaning is easy and it’s ready to use for next time!

I love my mini waffle maker! I have made many different types of waffles and the best part is that the size of the waffles I make fit perfectly in my breakfast sandwich maker (where cook the egg on top and then combining everything together once done into a sandwich). I’ve made little sandwiches and grilled tatter tots too. The perfect book to go with this is the mini-waffle maker cookbook sold separately (I just got it for Christmas and can’t wait to see what else I can make with this). You do need to experiment with the cooking time for anything you make, but I didn’t burn anything so that’s a plus!

I had originally wanted the mini waffle maker in this color and had no idea there was a mini grill in the same color and accidentally bought the grill. None-the-less this was a wonderful mistake and ended up buying both! It comes with easy yummy recipes and great for quick single meals. Not safe for children to use and I did use silicone tongs to open and close. Love them both!

The Dash Mini Waffle Maker is terrific and the waffle quality it produces excellent! Did a batch of waffles as soon as it arrived then put them in a container in the refrigerator. Now anyone in the family can grab a pre-made mini-waffle or two and pop it/them into the microwave any time.

We are in love with this waffle maker!

If you like waffles, but don’t want to eat gigantic ones and/or don’t have a ton of counters pace to spare for a full size waffle maker, this little thing is well worth the price.
Another benefit of this smaller size is that you can use the waffles from this little machine to make sandwiches, for those who like breakfast on the go, not to mention a sweet and savory treat in the morning.
We have actually been surprised by how much we use this item considering other waffle makers we’ve purchased all end up collecting dust in the back of a cupboard where they sat unused.

The only people for whom this might not work would be large families, who need to produce more than one waffle very quickly.
Otherwise, you can mix up a batch of batter in a squeeze bottle, use a portion to make your mini waffles, then store the rest in the fridge until the next day.

This really is a waffle maker that you’ll use more than once; in fact, diehard waffle fans will probably use it every day.

First, this is even smaller than I expected. (See photo) however it makes PERFECT waffles and is super easy to use
The waffles turn out fabulous each time.

I was a little skeptcal about getting this model from reviews mentioning burning themselves opening the iron due to the small handle.
I had no such issue with it – but I do have smaller hands than a lot of people.
All in all – this is a great purchase! I would highly recommend.

I purchased the Dash Mini Waffle Maker and the Dash Mini Griddle.
The Waffle Maker is easy to use. Plug in, wait for light to go off, spray oil and add batter.
Waffles at 2 1/2 and at 3 minutes were the best. Waffles at 3 1/2 minutes were beginning to dry out.
As with the Griddle, use, tongs, fork or spoon to open. Escaping steam is hot.
These units are small. Exactly what I wanted.
I checked the watts with a “Kill O Watt” meter. Waffle maker draws 368 watts and the griddle 352 watts.

At first, I laughed thought it was too small to really do anything. I was so wrong, it’s an amazing little waffle maker!! Can cook almost anything on it! I have cooked eggs, waffles, and french toast.

This review is for the “Dash Mini Maker: The Mini Waffle Maker Machine – Black”

I first used it for a breakfast batter that contained minced vegetables (tomatoes, sweet peppers, onions, etc.) and within 2-3 minutes that quarter cup of batter was ready. I used olive oil to “moisten” the irons and had no issues with the batter sticking. I will continue to get baselines for all my favourite batters re crispiness, golden “brown-ness”, etc. for my favourite batters.

The under-$10 price tag for this compact, easy to use item is ideal for cooking for 1 or 2. I am looking forward to using it with other snack and breakfast batters as well as those in the accompanying recipe book.

The waffle imprint will be fun for the young ones to enjoy traditional snacks. Would I recommend this product? Yes. 🙂
